use the tutorial found here
just replace the size of 4.5" with 5.25"
this is what the block will look like....
it'll make a 14.25" finished block
14.75" with seam allowances
and so on..

ReplyDeleteOkay. Fabric. Normally, I wouldn't, but because it's a group quilt, on snowy white white - - I washed in SOAK and found my red (and vintage brown that I wanted to use) was running. Did a little vinegar soak, still no stable red...got the brown settled down. Then washed again in SOAK to be sure the bubbles were matching that snowy white white. Okay to use the fabrics washed? Whaddya say?
